This policy explains what Trapt collects, why, and who it is shared with. Trapt does not ask for your name, email, phone number or any real-world identity.
Information we collect
- Anonymous player id. On first launch we create an anonymous account (Firebase Anonymous Authentication). It is a random id, not linked to your real identity, used to save your progress, traps and scores.
- Username you choose. When you place your first trap you pick a public display name (shown as Name#1234). Do not include personal information in it.
- Gameplay data. Distance, deaths, traps you place and their kills, coins, and the day's map id — used to run the game and the leaderboards.
- Diagnostics. Crash reports and basic performance/usage analytics to fix bugs and improve the game.
- Advertising identifiers. Our ad partner (Google AdMob) may access a device advertising identifier and similar data to show and measure ads.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or account/contact identifiers.
How we use it
To provide and save your game, generate the daily map and leaderboards, attribute trap kills, send you optional notifications about your traps, show ads, prevent abuse, and diagnose crashes.
Third-party services
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics, App Check) — backend, storage, diagnostics. https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google AdMob — advertising, including rewarded and interstitial ads. https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Your data is processed by Google under its own privacy terms.
Ads & consent
Where required (EEA/UK), we show a Google UMP consent form before serving personalised ads, and on iOS we request App Tracking Transparency permission. You may choose non-personalised ads; the game remains fully playable either way.
Children
Trapt is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children under the age required by your local law. Content is rated for teens (mild cartoon violence).
User-generated content
Usernames and traps are user content. We provide in-app Report and Block tools; three reports auto-hide a name pending review. Contact us to request removal of a name.
Data retention
Daily maps and their traps are deleted after about 7 days; leaderboards are kept as history. You can request deletion of your data by emailing us.
Your choices
Change or reset ad consent from your device settings / the in-app consent flow; mute audio, turn off notifications, change your name, and block players in Settings; request access to or deletion of your data at felicianojimenez@liqo.online.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use means acceptance of the current policy.
